Dr. Serena Yee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a Biology emphasis, from the University of California at Davis and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.  

 

Dr. Yee enjoys working with a diverse patient population and speaks Cantonese and studied Mandarin. She is certified for therapeutic pharmaceutical use, which allows her to treat certain eye diseases with medication, and is currently undergoing glaucoma treatment certification.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and the San Mateo County Optometry Society.

 

Dr. Yee was born and raised in San Francisco and currently resides in San Mateo with her husband and three children.  In her free time, she enjoys working out, trying new restaurants, traveling, and volunteering at her children's schools and activities.
