Margaret Liu, MD, is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who provides compassionate and skilled care in Comprehensive Ophthalmology as well as specialized treatment for cataracts and corneal diseases, such as Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy and Keratoconus.  Using the latest technological advancements, Dr. Liu tailors her treatment plans to address each person's individual needs and when appropriate, she can offer advanced eye surgery and laser applications including micro-incision “no-stitch” cataract surgery with astigmatism correction, intraocular Lens exchanges, corneal transplants and keratoprosthesis implantations. In addition, Dr. Liu evaluates patients for LASIK, PRK, ICL and RLE as well as Latisse treatments.

Dr. Liu’s training and dedication to cornea, external disease and refractive surgery has led to national lecture invitations or paper presentations at conferences held by the Wilmer Eye Institute, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Liu shares her passion for Ophthalmology through teaching residents complex cataract and corneal surgery.

Born in Taiwan and fluent in Mandarin, Dr. Liu enjoys hiking, running, snowboarding and eating with her family and friends.
